Lenovo today announced three new smartphones which will be be available through retails stores in India. Two of them belong to the A series, the Lenovo A1000 and Lenovo A6000 Shot, while the third one is the K3 Note Music.

Sony support pages have been updated to say that six of the company's Xperia devices will make the jump to Android 6.0 Marshmallow directly from Android 5.0 Lollipop, skipping Android 5.1.1 update. These include Xperia Z3+, C5 Ultra, M5, Xperia M4 Aqua.

Huawei has published a list of devices getting the latest Marshmallow update. But the list is for devices released in China, there is no mention of rollout to other regions. Huawei is working on updates, with smartphones getting the update in November.

YU Televentures has started accepting registrations for its upcoming flagship smartphone, the YU Yutopia. The YU Yutopia YU5050 is expected to come with a 5.2-inch quad-HD (2560x1440 pixels) display, running on the Snapdragon 810, with 4GB RAM.

LG has announced that its current flagship smartphone, the LG G4 will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update starting next week in Poland followed by other markets in Europe, Asia and the US. LG G4 will be first non-nexus/non-Android One device to get update

Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s went on sale midnight yesterday to quite an overwhelming response. The new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus come with 3D Touch, a pressure sensitive touchscreen. The iPhone 6s starts at Rs. 62,000 and the 6s Plus at Rs. 72,000.

Lenovo has launched another tablet in its A budget series. The Lenovo Tab A7-20 is an Android tablet which comes with a 7-inch (1024x600 Pixels) IPS display running on a quad-core Mediatek processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage.

Zopo India today launched the successor to the Speed 7. Dubbed the Zopo Speed 7 Plus, you get a MediaTek octa-core processor here with 3GB RAM, 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display running Android 5.1 Lollipop.
