Sony Xperia Z3+, Z4 Tablet, Xperia C5 Ultra among others to get Android Marshmallow directly from 5.0 Lollipop
Sony support pages have been updated to say that six of the company's Xperia devices will make the jump to Android 6.0 Marshmallow directly from Android 5.0 Lollipop, skipping Android 5.1.1 update.
The devices in question are:
- Xperia Z3+
- Xperia Z4 Tablet
- Xperia C4
- Xperia C5 Ultra
- Xperia M4 Aqua
- Xperia M5
Although Sony hasn't mentioned any timeline as to when these devices will get updated to Marshmallow, but it won't be this year. We'll keep an eye on this update, stay tuned.
