HONOR Magic V Flip2 to be launched on August 21 with Jimmy Choo-Inspired Design, Dual 50MP Cameras
HONOR has announced that it will launch its next-generation flip smartphone, the HONOR Magic V Flip2 in China on August 21st, a successor to last year’s Magic V Flip. The company is once again collaborating with world-renowned fashion designer Professor Jimmy Choo, Dr. Jimmy Choo, bringing his crystal-inspired artistry to the Magic V Flip2.
This latest creation blends high fashion with advanced technology, featuring a design that “scatters shattered stars across a deep blue ocean,” unfolding a glittering dream within its folds. The device also incorporates the Parisian hobnail pattern—a signature of the HONOR folding series—delivering couture-level detail to help users “shine with their own brilliance,” HONOR said.
The Magic V Flip2 retains a metal frame but introduces a redesigned camera setup. Instead of the previous model’s one large and one small camera, both cameras now share the same size, suggesting the inclusion of dual 50MP sensors—an upgrade from the earlier 50MP + 12MP combination.
According to earlier leaks, the device will feature enhanced imaging capabilities and improved battery life compared to its predecessor. More details are expected in the days ahead.
