YU Yutopia flagship registrations begin, launching soon
YU Televentures has started accepting registrations for its upcoming flagship smartphone, the YU Yutopia. Dubbed as the "most powerful phone on the planet," the YU Yutopia is expected to come with a 5.2-inch quad-HD (2560x1440 pixels) display running on the Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage.
It is expected to sport a 21MP rear and 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. Android 5.1 Lollipop will power the smartphone, but it remains to be seen whether there will be an option to switch to Cyanogen OS 12.1 like the Yunique. It will be a 4G LTE capable smartphone, but that's the extent of our knowledge, whether it will have dual-SIM slots, microSD card slot is not known at present.
At present there is no confirmation on the specs, or pricing of the YU Yutopia from the company but this would be the first device priced above Rs. 10,000.
