LG G4 to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update starting next week
LG has announced that its current flagship smartphone, the LG G4 will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update starting next week in Poland followed by other markets in Europe, Asia and the US.
LG G4 will become the first non-nexus/non-Android One device to get Android Marshmallow update. Although LG is free to add its own customization, Marshmallow gets better control over App Permissions, Doze mode for enhancing battery-life by controlling deep sleep for apps, a far better implementation of the Do Not Disturb mode alongwith several UI changes.
