Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML is the first phone in the world to have 4 gigs of RAM, and it will be launched today in India alongwith two other variants all based on 64-bit, 4G capable Intel Atom processors.

The previous Zenfone series was a huge success in India given the excellent build, good cameras and perfect pricing. This time around too we expect the pricing to be just right with one of the models with houses a 5.5-inch display, 2 GB RAM, 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor to be priced around Rs. 10,000 which definitely hits the sweet spot. The top model with 4GB RAM is expected to go for around Rs. 20,000.

There is a marked change in design from the previous Zenfone series, you now have the volume rocker at the back and the power button at the top. Moreover, the top and bottom of the phones are rounder. But the signature chin just below the display still remains and the capacitive buttons are still not backlit. The backcover has a brushed metallic sort of finish akin to the LG G3.
