Android 7.0 Nougat coming to Android One smartphones, but not officially

An India based developer, Varun Chitre has posted screenshots of his Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4501 Android One (sprout) smartphone running Android 7.0 Nougat. He has been working on the ROM for some time and it may be released soon.

The Nokia X was launched way back in February 2014 running Android Jelly Bean but the company made it look so much like Windows Phone that all traces of Android atleast on the surface were removed.

There's a good reason why Android developers love Nexus devices and so does the entire community. There is huge support, case in point the Nexus 4 which was launched with Android 4.1 Jellybean way back in 2012, which can now run Android Nougat.

The Indian government run telecom operator, BSNL, has announced an unlimited 3G mobile data plan for just Rs. 1099 per month. Apart from that Anupam Shrivastava, BSNL Chairman and MD also said that they have been rapidly gaining market-share.
