Samsung prepping new "Galaxy C" Series of smartphones, SM-C5000 and SM-C7000 surface online
It seems we are going to see some new C Series Android Smartphones from Samsung soon. The Galaxy C SM-C5000 has already made its way to India for testing as spotted on Zauba followed by some specs on AnTuTu Benchmarks.
Now its the turn of the SM-C7000 which has just made its way to GeekBench as well. The Galaxy C5 SM-5000 will have a smaller 5.2-inch display while Galaxy C7 SM-C7000 will feature a 5.5-5.7 inch display both carrying a 1080p resolution.
Coming to specs the SM-C7000 is expected to run on the Snapdragon 625 processor with Android 6.0.1 running the show. The listing also says that the new Galaxy C7 (probably) will have a 16MP rear and 8MP front cameras. While the Samsung Galaxy C5 (SM-C5000) will run on the Snapdragon 617 chipset with 4GB RAM onboard as well and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
At present there is no word on price yet or availability, but expect an announcement soon from Samsung.
