Every year Xiaomi updates their software skin, MIUI, to a newer version and its now time for another iteration, MIUI 8. Let's begin with some features about the update and then we will talk about which devices and when they would get MIUI 8 update.

Xiaomi has started rolling out a new OTA update for the Redmi Note 3 in India which enables taking photos with the rear and front cameras using the fingerprint sensor.

At the Coolpad Note 3 Plus launch event the company mentioned that they will be inviting us all again for the launch of their flagship. Coolpad India has started sending out invites for an event scheduled for 20th May 2016 where Coolpad Max is expected.

Xiaomi's massive phablet, Mi Max is now official with a 6.44-inch 1080p display, MIUI 8. There are two variants of the Mi Max, one is powered by the Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor or the Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor.

Micromax today launched the Canvas XP 4G with 3GB RAM and 5-inch HD display priced at Rs. 7499. Other highlights of the smartphone include dual-SIM 4G LTE support, 1GHz quad-core processor and 16GB internal storage.
