Lenovo has finally set a date for the launch of the Moto M in India, December 13. The metal-clad smartphone with a rear fingerprint sensor was earlier launched in China and was the first smartphone to be powered by the Helio P15 processor from MediaTek.

Asus is gearing up to launch another smartphone in its Zenfone 3 series. The newest member could be the Zenfone 3 Zoom (ZE553KL) which sports dual rear cameras, and may use a telephoto lens for optical zoom.

Alcatel has just launched it's Idol 4 smartphone in India. Introduced back at MWC 2016, the Idol 4 packs a 5.2-inch 1080p display and runs on the octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor, which is also found on the Moto G4 Plus. It comes with a free VR headset.

Samsung has just announced the availability of the Blue Coral color variant of the Galaxy S7 Edge in India. The new color will be available for Rs. 50900 starting December 15 from Samsung stores both online and offline.

Micromax has just out its new series of smartphones, Vdeo 1 and Vdeo 2 which come with pre-bundled JIO SIM cards, free unlimited voice calls, data and messages till March 31, 2017.

Meizu has finally launched its new budget phablet, the M5 Note, which runs on pretty much the same specifications as the M3 Note including the MediaTek Helio P10 processor, a choice of 3/4 GB RAM with various storage options.

Lenovo today launched its second phone in the Phab 2 series in India, the Lenovo Phab 2 which also comes with a 6.4-inch display and massive 4050 mAh battery. The internals here are similar to the Phab 2 Plus which was launched last month.
