Nokia Lumia 929 for Verizon leaks, will have 1080p display

It seems Nokia had a lot of plans for Windows Phone 8, a new handset dubbed the Lumia 929 is heading to Verizon before the end of the year. Evleaks has posted a press photo which has the Verizon logo on it and although this isn't the Lumia 1520 with a humongous 6-inch display, the Lumia 929 will still have a 1080p display. The device is expected to be available in both black and white colors as the leaks would suggest, alongwith a 20MP PureView primary camera.

Nokia is holding a special press event on October 22nd where we might see the unveiling of the Lumia 1520 as well as the 10.2-inch Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet that has been making rounds in some leaked press shots. The Lumia 929 passed FCC certification in the US therefore we might see some more high-res images soon.
