    Samsung Galaxy A17 5G has appeared in press images, the successor to last year’s Galaxy A16 5G. The design features a familiar Infinity-V notch display, while the triple rear camera module now adopts a new camera deco, aligning with Samsung’s latest 2025 design language.

    Recent benchmark listings for the device, carrying the model number SM-A176B, confirm it will launch with Android 15 and One UI 7. It is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset—an upgrade over the Exynos 1330 found in its predecessor.

    The camera setup is expected to remain unchanged, featuring a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 13MP front-facing camera. The phone will also pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. Dimensions are listed as 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.9 mm. Notably, Samsung is said to offer six years of security updates and six OS upgrades with this device.

    The Galaxy A17 5G is likely to launch in late September or early October.
