Realme 15 5G and Realme 15 Pro 5G launched in India starting from Rs. 25,999 with 6.8-inch FHD+ 144Hz OLED Screen, Dimensity 7300+/Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC

Realme just launched its latest smartphones in the 15 series, the realme 15 5G and realme 15 Pro 5G in India, as promised. Both devices sport a 6.8-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED BOE 4D curved display, featuring an ultra-slim 1.72mm bottom bezel, a 94% screen-to-body ratio, and support for up to 6,500 nits peak local brightness and 1,800 nits HBM brightness. The displays also include PWM and DC dimming for reduced eye strain.

Under the hood, the realme 15 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300+ chipset, while the 15 Pro 5G becomes the first smartphone in India to debut with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. Both phones incorporate a 7,000mm² VC cooling system for thermal efficiency and come with up to 12GB of physical RAM and an additional 14GB of virtual RAM for enhanced multitasking.

They run on Android 15 out of the box with realme UI 6.0 and are slated to receive two major Android OS updates and three years of security patches, continuing the company’s update policy from previous generations.

In the camera department, both models are equipped with a 50MP main sensor (Sony IMX882 / IMX896) with OIS and a 50MP front-facing camera. The standard realme 15 5G includes an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while the Pro model is upgraded with a 50MP ultra-wide camera—a first for the series. The Pro variant also supports 4K video recording at 60fps across all cameras and offers HDR video recording via the main sensor.

On the software side, the devices feature MagicGlow 2.0 to enhance skin tones and lighting in portraits, and Party Mode, which dynamically adds scene-based filters, lighting effects, and frames. The phones also include Edit Genie, a voice-controlled editing assistant that supports over 20 languages and enables tasks like background removal, glare reduction, and applying visual effects through voice commands.

Both smartphones are powered by a 7000mAh Titan battery with an 813Wh/L energy density and support 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. Despite the large battery, the phones maintain a slim profile at just 7.66mm thickness and 187g weight. Additionally, the devices come with a multi-colour pulse notification light on the back for visual alerts.

The realme 15 5G comes in Silk Pink, Velvet Green, and Flowing Silver colours, and the realme 15 Pro 5G is available in Silk Purple, Velvet Green, and Flowing Silver colours. 

Both the realme 15 5G and realme 15 Pro 5G will go on sale starting July 30th, 20,25 at 12 PM, and will be available through Flipkart, realme.com, and offline retail stores. Pre-orders begin today, July 24th.
