Lava Play Max launched in India starting at Rs. 12,999 with 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Dimensity 7300 SoC

Lava has launched its latest 5G smartphone in the Play series, the Lava Play Max in India, following the Play Ultra launched earlier this year. It features a 6.72-inch FHD+ flat LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, the Play Max includes what the company claims is segment-first Vapor Chamber Cooling (VC Cooling).
It comes with up to 8GB of RAM plus an additional 8GB of virtual RAM, alongside 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, expandable up to 1TB. The phone is equipped with a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Running a clean Android 15 experience with no bloatware, the Play Max is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

The Lava Play Max will be offered in Deccan Black and Himalayan White and will go on sale at Lava’s retail stores beginning this December. The device also comes with nationwide Free Service @ Home support, consistent with other Lava smartphones.
