iQOO 15 launched in India at an effective price starting at Rs. 64,999 with 6.85-inch 2K LTPO 144Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC
iQOO has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15 in India, as previously announced. It features of the iQOO 15 is its 6.85-inch Samsung 2K M14 LEAD OLED display, the first time this panel has appeared on an Android smartphone. It offers a 2K resolution, 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, a peak local brightness of 6000 nits, and 2600 nits in HBM, which the company claims is the brightest display in India.
The screen also supports Dolby Vision and uses triple ambient light sensors for precise brightness adjustment. The phone comes in two color options: the matte black Alpha Edition and the white Legend Edition, the latter featuring a refreshed tri-color pattern logo.
Software and Performance -
The iQOO 15 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. iQOO promises 5 major Android updates and 7 years of security patches for the device.
According to the company, this hardware setup delivers an AnTuTu score exceeding 4 million. Performance is further boosted by the dedicated Supercomputing Chip Q3, which enhances efficiency and visual quality, enabling frame interpolation for smoother gameplay at up to 144 FPS with lower latency.
For gamers, the phone supports ray tracing to simulate realistic lighting effects. To maintain optimal performance, it also incorporates what iQOO claims is India’s largest 8K VC cooling system.
Camera and Battery -
The iQOO 15 features a triple 50MP rear camera setup consisting of:
- 50MP Sony IMX921 VCS primary sensor
- 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens
- 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera
- On the front, there’s a 32MP camera.
The device is backed by a 7000mAh battery using fourth-generation silicon anode and second-generation semi-solid-state technology, optimized for durability across temperatures. Charging options include 100W FlashCharge, 40W wireless charging, and 65W PPS support.
