Google's Nexus smartwatch made by LG to have a 1.65-inch 280x280 pixels display
Google is all set to jump on the smartwatch bandwagon with a LG made watch which is expected to feature a 1.65-inch, 280x280 pixels display. That's not all, Google is also working on a leaner Android port especially targeted for wearables with better performance and battery life.
In terms of other specs the Google Smartwatch will have 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage alongwith support for Bluetooth 4.0 LE. Although it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that it would feature various health monitors as well. The Nexus smartwatch's closest competitor is the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 which now runs on Tizen OS and has better performance than the previous-gen device. In terms of specs these are pretty similar.

Single Google has already been working on the Glass, a smartwatch is a much easier concept to bring to life especially if the software side of things is already in place.
