Android One smartphones begin to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in India
Google has started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Android One smartphones in India. At present even the Nexus devices haven't received their share of the new sweet update, but Android One seems to be taking the cake here.
All three Android One smartphones, Micromax Canvas A1, Spice Dream Uno Mi-498 and the Karbonn Sparkle V all have started receiving their share of Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA update. There is no word on the Lava Pixel V1 getting the update.
Android Marshmallow update will bring UI update, faster animations, Google Now on Tap, Doze battery-saving and app permissions. The OTA Marshmallow update for Android One devices weighs in at 338.1MB. The update is being rolled out gradually.
