Earlier - Realme has announced the launch of its latest addition to its realme 14 series, the realme 14x 5G set to debut in India on December 18th, ahead of the realme 14 Pro series. Earlier this year, the realme 12x was introduced with an IP54 dust and water resistance rating.
The company claims that the realme 14x 5G will be the first smartphone in India under Rs. 15,000 to feature an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. While additional details about the realme 14x 5G are yet to be revealed, the design and colour options resemble those of the realme V60 Pro, which launched in China last month.
Realme also highlighted the phone’s design, which draws inspiration from the rugged elegance of diamonds. The back panel is designed to reflect the brilliance of crystals and gems when viewed from different angles under sunlight.
For reference, the realme V60 Pro features a 6.67-inch HD+ 120Hz LCD screen, is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, runs realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, and includes a 50MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, military-grade drop resistance, and a 5600mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
Realme confirmed that the 14x 5G will go on sale on December 18th, coinciding with its launch.
