OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro to be launched on December 26 with 6.78-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3/8 Elite SoC
OnePlus has officially announced that it will launch the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro smartphones in its Ace 5 series on December 26th in China, After rumours and teasers. The company has also shared an image of the devices, showcasing a similar design with triple rear cameras, a metal frame, and an alert slider.
Louis Jie, OnePlus China’s head, described the Ace 5 series as a new era in OnePlus’s “performance leap,” offering exceptional performance. He revealed that the Ace 5 optimizes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip to a performance level dubbed “8 Gen 3.5,” while the Ace 5 Pro utilizes the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, setting a new standard for gaming performance on smartphones.
He further emphasized that the Ace 5 series will deliver the most significant performance upgrade in OnePlus’s history. With the integration of the Snapdragon flagship chip and the “Fengchi Game Core” technology, the devices promise uninterrupted full-frame gaming for extended periods. Additionally, the new-generation glacier batteries provide a balance of lightweight design and outstanding battery life.
OnePlus also highlighted the Ace 5 Pro’s impressive 3.21 million points on AnTuTu and claimed that even after five hours of intensive gaming, the frame rate would remain steady at 120 fps, delivering an unparalleled gaming experience.
