Altec Lansing re-enters India with a bang, announces rugged Bluetooth speakers starting at Rs. 3600
Altec Lansing is a name that most of us associate with quality audio, in-fact my first desktop speakers were a pair of Altec Lansing's and they served me quite well. The company has finally re-entered India with the help of promoters, Konark Group.
The company is launching its Mini H2O, Mini Life Jacket 2 and Life Jacket 2 Bluetooth speakers, all of which are IP67 rated for dust and water-resistance and as a bonus are shock-proof as well. Moreover, due to their unique design and engineering behind them, they float on water as well.
If we come to the specifics, the Altec Lansing Mini H2O is the smallest of the bunch, but it still gets 6-hours of battery life on a single charge. The Mini Life Jacket 2 gets 10-hours with its rechargeable battery while the biggest/baddest of them all, the Life Jacket 2 gets 16 hours of battery-life and can be used to charge other devices.
All three of them can be used as speakers to accept calls with their built-in microphones and also have AUX-in support for plugging in your iPod's, if you are still using them.
