ZTE Axon 7 arrives with 6GB RAM, SD820 to take on the Galaxy S7
ZTE's ZXON brand has a new member, the Axon 7 flagship which runs on the Snapdragon 820 SoC with either 4GB or 6GB RAM.
Packing a 5.5-inch Quad-HD AMOLED display with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass, the ZTE Axon 7 also has a 20MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture lens, OIS, PDAF and is capable of recording 4K Videos. Then there's an 8MP front-facing camera to accompany it.
The Axon 7 comes with an all-metal build as well, and the hallmark of these devices from ZTE has always been audio quality. To that effect you have two dedicated AKM HiFi audio chips AK4961/AK4490 with Dolby Atmos and front firing speakers.
Now coming to the rest of the specs, the Axon 7 comes in two variants one with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, the other with a whopping 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. You can expand storage with a microSD card, but for that you would need to sacrifice the second SIM slot. Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, dual-band WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port with support for Quick Charge 3.0 for the 3250 mAh battery. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device just below the camera module.
