Xolo Era 2X budget smartphone with fingerprint sensor launching January 5th

Xolo is planning to launch the Era 2X budget Android smartphone with a fingerprint sensor on January 5th in India. The company has been teasing the smartphone on its social media channels. It would be a Flipkart exclusive and would go on sale starting January 9th.

The Xolo Era 2X is expected to be a 4G VoLTE ready smartphone with a fast rear camera as the teasers hint at. We can also assume that you can take images by tapping on the fingerprint sensor on the back.

We haven't heard much about the specs of the smartphone yet, but we expect a 5.5-inch display, 3000 mAh battery and a MediaTek processor powering the innards. It would be a dual-SIM smartphone with VoLTE support for Reliance Jio and a 13-megapixel rear and 5MP front camera. Read More: Xolo Era 2X Expected Specifications

Given that this is Xolo's budget range, we expect the pricing to be under Rs. 7000 for the XOLO Era 2X as well. We will know more when the phone launches this Thursday.
