Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G gets MIUI v6 update

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G has started receiving MIUI v6 update in India and Taiwan. The new MIUI v6.3.5.0 (KHIMIBL) brings a revamped look to Redmi Note 4G's UI alongwith bug fixes which include better camera performance and audio quality.

Xiaomi's MIUI 6 borrows heavily from iOS and Google's Material design as its "inspiration" but the overall result seems pleasant to use and right at home if you are coming from MIUI 5. You can download the ROM directly from Xiaomi or wait for the update notification on your Redmi Note 4G.

Sadly MIUI v6 for the Redmi Note 4G is still based on Android 4.4 KitKat while we were hoping for Lollipop to come forth. Nevertheless, its a welcome update which will definitely make the Redmi Note 4G an even better option under Rs. 10,000.
