Xiaomi Mi Note 2 to be unveiled on October 25
Xiaomi has already had a very interesting year with a lot of new launches including the Redmi Pro, Mi Max, Redmi Note 4, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus and now they have confirmed the launch of the Mi Note 2.
According to a teaser on their official Weibo page, Xiaomi said that the Mi Note 2 will be launched on October 25 in an event in China. It is expected to pack a 5.7-inch display running on the Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor with atleast 4GB RAM. There has also been talk of a dual-edge curved display variant.
The Mi Note 2 is expected to come with dual 12MP rear cameras similar to the Mi 5s Plus and it would run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 out of the box.
Xiaomi is again expected to go with a USB Type-C port as it has with other Mi smartphones. The expected price of the base model fo the Mi Note 2 is expected to start at CNY 2999 (about Rs. 29,800.) But we will get to know more once the device launches on October 25.
