Is WhatsApp working on a Desktop client for Windows and OSX?
It seems WhatsApp is gearing up to conquer messaging on the Desktop as well. The popular messaging platform is said to be making a foray onto Windows PCs and Macs with leaked screenshots showing download options for both.
The screenshots for an upcoming build shows options to "Download for Windows" and "Download for Max OS X." Now, there has been no confirmation from WhatsApp, therefore this must be taken with a grain of salt. But after being acquired by Facebook, WhatsApp has been on a growth trajectory and this may be next vital step.
WhatsApp can already be accessed on a desktop with its WhatsApp Web interface for Chrome, Firefox and Opera, but a native client would make the service more ubiquitous.
