vivo X300 Ultra launched with 6.82-inch 2K 144Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, Dual 200MP cameras

Vivo has also launched its latest premium smartphone in the X300 series, the vivo X300 Ultra, at the vivo X series spring launch event in China, as previously announced. Positioned as a “professional V-series single-lens camera” and a true “pocket camera,” the flagship smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Its standout feature is an advanced imaging system built around a comprehensive 3+2 Zeiss Master Lens array, engineered to deliver consistent high-quality results across multiple focal lengths.
Design and Aesthetics -
The vivo X300 Ultra adopts a DECO design language inspired by a classic “pancake lens,” prioritizing functional elegance over decorative elements. It features a 2.5D flat front display and integrates camera-inspired details such as a knurled texture and a distinctive silver trim along the mid-frame edges. The device carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Performance -

Under the hood, the X300 Ultra runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of dual UFS 4.1 storage. It incorporates the new Ice Pulse Fluid VC cooling system, featuring a vapor chamber that is 14% larger than its predecessor and offering 22% more steam chamber space. A redesigned super water-absorption channel enhances liquid circulation efficiency, helping maintain lower surface temperatures for improved in-hand comfort.
The Zeiss Master Lens Array -
At the heart of the vivo X300 Ultra is its hardware-centric camera system, equipped with Zeiss T* coating across all lenses. The setup supports direct 25-megapixel image output across every focal length, reinforcing the device’s positioning as a professional-grade mobile imaging solution.

Extended Zoom: Teleconverter Modules -
To expand its optical reach, vivo introduced two dedicated teleconverter accessories designed to significantly extend focal length capabilities:
- Zeiss G2 Teleconverter (“Lipstick 200”) - Offers a 200mm equivalent focal length, delivering roughly 8.7x optical zoom at full 200MP resolution. It features 3° optical image stabilization (CIPA 6.5 rated) and supports ultra-high-resolution autofocus at up to 60fps.
- Zeiss G2 Ultra Teleconverter (“Big Gun 400”) - Provides a 400mm equivalent focal length. It incorporates a precision-engineered 15-element, 2-group optical design, including five ultra-low dispersion elements and one glass aspherical element, enabling faster autofocus performance and improved stabilization.
Color Science and Imaging Algorithms -
The X300 Ultra debuts several in-house imaging innovations aimed at improving color fidelity and tonal accuracy:
- Blueprint Original Color Camera - Utilizes a 12-spectral-channel system along with a dedicated 5MP sensor to capture light information more closely aligned with human visual perception.
- vivo Color Science - Integrates the Smooth EV dynamic compression algorithm to refine highlight transitions, along with a Blueprint color appearance model to better balance brightness and color relationships.
- Blueprint Color Palette - Enables intuitive adjustments, allowing horizontal swipes for color tuning and vertical swipes for tonal control, complemented by five advanced creative effect tools.
Professional Video Capabilities -
The smartphone incorporates a comprehensive professional-grade video pipeline. It supports 4K 120fps Dolby Vision recording and 4K 120fps 10-bit Log (4:2:2 sampling) output across all focal lengths.
Key Video Features -
- Hardware Support - Optical image stabilization (OIS) across every lens, a four-microphone array for spatial audio capture, and a 2K Zeiss Master Color display for accurate monitoring.
- Post-Production Workflow - Dedicated Pro recording mode, custom 3D LUT import and monitoring, built-in 3D LUT library, and compatibility with the ACES professional color workflow standard.
- Color Master Engine - vivo’s self-developed video color pipeline that processes RAW data for smoother tonal gradation. It supports 4K 60fps recording on all lenses and allows Dolby Vision HDR overlay.
- Cinematic Modes - Includes a “Classic Film Style” mode (2.4:1 aspect ratio, 24fps, motion blur, film grain) and a “Modern Film Look” mode (16:9 aspect ratio, 60fps).
Professional Imaging Kit -

To enhance the “pocket camera” concept, vivo also introduced an upgraded professional imaging kit. The package includes the dedicated imaging handle, both the “Lipstick 200” and “Big Gun 400” teleconverters, a custom protective case with a decorative/filter ring, an exclusive camera bag, and a shoulder strap for improved portability and handling.
