Vivo X200 Ultra will feature Photography kit with External lens co-engineered by Zeiss and 2300mAh battery
Vivo has already confirmed that the X200 Ultra smartphone will launch in China on April 21st. The Vivo product manager, Han Boxiao unveiled the X200 Ultra Photography Package, showcasing its retro camera-inspired design and highlighting its key features.
Co-developed with Zeiss, the external lens attaches via a custom phone case and makes use of the phone’s 200MP ultra-large sensor. Once mounted, it transforms the setup into a 200MP 200mm F2.3 telephoto system (equivalent to 8.7x zoom). The lens features 13 high-transmittance glass elements arranged in a three-group Kepler structure, which boosts the X200 Ultra’s optical zoom capabilities by an additional 2.35x—resulting in a true 200mm optical zoom effect.
Additionally, the secondary RMSC point offers a highly usable 800mm (35x) zoom, while the 1600mm (70x) range matches the quality of the phone’s native 30x zoom. Han Boxiao also shared sample images taken at 200mm, 400mm, and 800mm focal lengths. More information is expected in the coming days, ahead of the phone’s official launch later this month.
The Vivo X200 Ultra Photography Kit was officially unveiled yesterday. It connects to the phone through the USB Type-C port, ensuring smooth and seamless integration. The X200 Ultra’s photography kit will come equipped with a 2,300mAh battery—an upgrade over the 2,000mAh unit found in the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s kit. Previous reports suggested the phone itself will feature a battery capacity of over 6,000mAh, so when combined with the kit, users can expect even better overall battery performance.
