REDMAGIC 10 Air to be launched on April 16 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 7.85mm sleek design
Update - REDMAGIC has officially revealed that the REDMAGIC 10 Air will feature a slim 7.85mm body designed for comfortable handling, particularly during gaming, thanks to its micro-arc middle frame and well-balanced weight.
The company also confirmed that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, along with its in-house RedCore R3 gaming chip—originally introduced with the RedMagic 10 Pro series—delivering enhanced super-resolution and super-frame concurrency for an optimized gaming experience.
Earlier - REDMAGIC has confirmed the launch of its latest smartphone in the REDMAGIC 10 series, the REDMAGIC 10 Air in China on April 16, earlier this week. Today, the company unveiled the phone’s design, showcasing it in three striking color options: Shadow Black, Frost Blade White, and Flame Orange.
According to Nubia’s CEO Ni Fei, the REDMAGIC 10 Air is crafted to be slim yet durable, delivering an experience that's “hard to put down.” The device is geared towards a younger audience, with a design and feature set tailored for the next generation of mobile gamers.
While official specifications are still under wraps, leaks suggest the phone will sport a 6.8-inch Full HD+ BOE OLED display (2480 x 1116 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate, and run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Camera setup is expected to include dual 50MP sensors (main and ultra-wide) along with a 16MP front-facing camera.
The REDMAGIC 10 Air is rumored to measure 164.3 × 76.6 × 7.85mm and weigh 205 grams, making it one of the thinnest and lightest phones in its class to feature a massive 6000mAh battery. It is also expected to support 80W fast charging.
More details are likely to emerge as the official launch date approaches next week.
