Vivo S20 and S20 Pro launched with 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, 50MP front and rear cameras
Vivo has launched its latest samrtphone in the S20 series, the S20 and S20 Pro smartphones in its S19 series lineup in China, as previously announced. Both models feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED BOE Q10 display, offering 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and up to 4500 nits of peak brightness. The S20 sports a flat display, while the S20 Pro boasts a quad-curved screen design.
For photography, both phones come equipped with a 50MP autofocus front camera. The S20 features a 50MP main rear camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The S20 Pro takes it further with a 50MP IMX921 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP IMX882 3X periscope telephoto lens with CIPA4.5-level image stabilization and macro capabilities.
Under the hood, the S20 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, retaining the same chipset as its predecessor, while the S20 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC, an upgrade from the Dimensity 9200+. Vivo claims an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score of up to 2.25 million points for these devices.
The phone's debut in striking colour options, including the new Phoenix Feather Gold, crafted using photolithography and embroidery techniques to create intricate golden silk phoenix feather patterns. Other options include Purple Air from the East, featuring a unique back texture created with magical cloud craftsmanship and flowing crystal effects, as well as Jade Dew White and Pine Smoke Ink.
Despite its slim 7.19mm profile, the S20 houses a massive 6500mAh battery, while the S20 Pro comes with a 5500mAh battery. Both models support 90W fast charging and include an optical fingerprint scanner.
