Samsung's Terrain Home launcher for Android now available
Samsung Accelerate funded startup Terrain has just launched its Terrain Home Launcher for Android on the Play Store. According to the listing it has three key features, a sidebar with all your information, search and the app drawer.
By swiping right you access the sidebar, with a left swipe you get to the app drawer with an alphabetical list of your installed apps and swiping up brings the search screen.
The launcher shows cards like Google Now, which contain more information visible when you tap on them or take you to the associated app. You also get a card with toggles for WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Flashlight and audio profiles. You get Facebook Feed, Calendar, Appointments, Weather, News among several other cards.
It is a customizable launcher, you can select the number of rows and columns you want, the number of apps in the dock and which cards you want in the sidebar. Terrain Home is available for free from the Play Store for phones running Android 4.2 and above.
