Oppo Find 7a gets OTA update with Voice unlock, bug fixes
Oppo has just begun rolling out an OTA update to the flagship Find 7a which brings some new features and bug fixes. You get support for the new smart cover, voice unlock and E-warranty registration. The update doesn't bring Android Kitkat to the Find 7a, and you are still stuck with updated Color OS 1.2.1i based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The update is 290 MB in size, and it would be better to download over WiFi.
Here is the complete change log:
- Added support for smart cover
- Added Voiceprint unlock feature
- Added E-warranty card registration
- Optimized power consumption caused by network switching
- When using powered off alarm clock, decreased the auto power on time from 2 minutes to 40 seconds before the alarm rings
- Removed Power-on sound
- Fixed issue that sometimes the screen won't turn on automatically after call ended
- Fixed the issue that stock music player cannot search out .ogg format files
- Optimized MTP mode, improved speed when copying multiple small files
You can check for the update manually if you haven't received the notification.
