Samsung has made a 256GB microSD card
Samsung today announced a 256GB microSD card beating out rival SanDisk by 56GB.
The new Samsung EVO Plus 256GB microSD card has been priced at $249.99 (about Rs. 16,600) and will be available in more than 50 countries starting in June carrying a 10-year limited warranty. Samsung says that the EVO Plus 256GB microSD card has a 95MB/s read and 90MB/s write speed. It is based on the new V-NAND storage technology which Samsung also uses in its EVO SSDs.
