Samsung Galaxy A56, A36 and A26 Press Images surfaced Online Revealing Similar Camera design

Samsung is preparing to launch its next mid-range smartphone in the A series. Following last year's CAD-based renders, press renders of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26 smartphones have now surfaced, courtesy of tipster @MysteryLupin.

A common design element across all three devices is the camera module, which features a ring-style design similar to the Galaxy S25 series. However, the side and bottom bezels remain larger than those seen on competing devices.

Like the Galaxy A16 5G, these models are expected to receive six OS updates and should launch with One UI 7.0. Additionally, both the A56 and A36 are rumoured to feature IP67 water and dust resistance ratings.

Samsung Galaxy A56 -

Tipster @evleaks recently shared a GIF showcasing all the colour options of the Galaxy A56, highlighting its aluminum frame with a brushed finish and a noticeable camera bump.

Previous leaks suggest the device will sport a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro camera—similar to its predecessors, the A55 and A54. However, it is rumored to feature an upgraded 12MP front camera. The phone is expected to retain a 5000mAh battery but may finally introduce 45W fast charging support.

Benchmark listings indicate that the Galaxy A56 will be powered by the Exynos 1580 (s5e885) chipset with an Xclipse 540 GPU from AMD, paired with 8GB of RAM and running Android 15.

Samsung Galaxy A36 -

The Galaxy A36 is rumored to be powered by either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, marking a shift away from the MediaTek and Exynos chips used in previous models.

It is expected to measure 162.6 x 77.9 x 7.4mm, making it shorter but wider and thinner than the Galaxy A35 5G (161.7 x 78 x 8.2mm).

The phone is likely to retain its 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro sensor. However, it is expected to feature a new 12MP front camera. The device is also set to maintain a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

Samsung Galaxy A26 -

The Galaxy A26 is expected to retain a notched display and thick bottom bezels, similar to its predecessor. A Geekbench listing has confirmed the presence of the Exynos 1280 SoC, the same chipset used in the previous model. However, it remains unclear whether Samsung will also release a MediaTek variant for the Indian market, similar to the Galaxy A16.

The phone is rumoured to measure 164 x 77.5 x 7.7~9.7mm (including the camera bump), making it taller but narrower and thinner than the Galaxy A25, which measures 161 x 76.5 x 8.3mm.

Samsung is expected to officially announce these smartphones next month.
