Gionee Elife E8 has finally launched in India, the latest flagship from the company in its E series and it doesn't come cheap. It was announced in China earlier in June, packing a 6-inch QHD (2560x1440 Pixels) AMOLED display, Helio x10 processor, 3GB RAM.

Microsoft also announced a budget device at its launch event for Windows 10 devices, the Lumia 550. It runs on the Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB expandable storage with Windows 10 onboard.

Google has started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Android One smartphones in India. All Android One smartphones, Micromax Canvas A1, Spice Dream Uno Mi-498 and the Karbonn Sparkle V all have started receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

Google India has started rolling out event invites for the launch of the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X in India on October 13th. Both the new Nexus devices run on Google's latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS but differ in terms of hardware.

Microsoft's latest and greatest were revealed yesterday alongwith the final build of Windows 10 for smartphones. The new Lumia 950 XL spearheads Microsoft's ambition of still making in the smartphone space with high-end specs and features to boot.
