The smartphone market is one ruthless beast, and today it took yet another unsuspecting prey, Jolla. The Finnish phone-maker today announced that they were unable to close the latest round of funding leading to lay offs.

It seems November 24 is going to be a huge day in terms of products announcements from Xiaomi. With the Mi 5, Redmi Note 2 Pro already rumored, Xiaomi has now begun teasing the Mi Pad 2 with a metal body and Intel processor.

Samsung isn't yet done with J series, today the company launhed Galaxy J3 which comes with a 5-inch HD super AMOLED display running on a quad-core processor with 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal storage which is expandable upto 128GB running Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Pepsi phone is real. Pepsi P1s (or P1s) went official today in China with a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 2.5D curved glass running on MediaTek's MT6592 octa-core processor. It has an aluminium unibody design, and runs Android 5.1 based Dido OS 6.1.

We all know that Xiaomi is holding a press conference on November 24th where we expected to see the new Mi flagship, the Mi5. But it seems we would have to settle for the Redmi Note 2 Pro. It will feature a metal body with a fingerprint sensor.

Micromax today launched the Canvas Xpress 4G exclusive to Flipkart priced at Rs. 6599. It runs on a MediaTek MT6735p processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 5-inch HD IPS display, specs similar to the Lenovo Vibe P1m.

BlackBerry has been having a very rough time, the Z series alongwith BlackBerry 10OS has been a massive failure for the company and therefore, they decided to go with Android instead. The Priv at its current price seems primed for failure.
