Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 with metal body, Intel processor teased ahead of launch
It seems November 24 is going to be a huge day in terms of products announcements from Xiaomi. With the Mi 5, Redmi Note 2 Pro already rumored, Xiaomi has now begun teasing the Mi Pad 2 with a metal body.
Lin Bin, co-founder and President of Xiaomi took to Weibo again to tease a new product which you see above. This is the new Mi Pad 2 which is expected to run on an Intel Atom X5-Z8500 quad-core processor with the same 7.9-inch (2048x1536 Pixels) display as the previous-gen Mi Pad. We may have the same 2GB RAM, 16GB storage here which would be expandable.
Some of these specifications were leaked by a Geekbench listing of the device, so they may hold some ground. We will know more at the November 24 launch event.
