OPPO Find X9 Series to Debut as World’s First Smartphone Powered by Dimensity 9500 SoC; India Launch Set for November

At the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, OPPO and MediaTek announced a strategic partnership to debut the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset in the upcoming OPPO Find X9 Series.

This collaboration will make the Find X9 the world’s first smartphone lineup powered by MediaTek’s latest flagship SoC. The announcement emphasized the companies’ shared commitment to enhancing on-device AI, energy efficiency, and mobile imaging performance.

MediaTek Dimensity 9500 -

The Dimensity 9500 features a third-generation All-Big-Core CPU architecture, comprising one 4.21GHz ultra-core, three premium cores, and four performance cores. According to MediaTek, this configuration delivers up to a 32% improvement in single-core and a 17% boost in multi-core performance over its predecessor, while reducing peak power consumption by up to 55%.

For graphics, the chipset includes the Arm G1-Ultra GPU, offering up to 33% higher GPU performance and 42% better power efficiency, enabling console-grade ray tracing on mobile.

OPPO also revealed that the Find X9 Series will feature a custom cooling system designed to sustain performance during demanding workloads, such as high-frame-rate gaming.

During the media showcase, MediaTek demonstrated the chipset’s AI and imaging capabilities, including real-time image-to-image AI rendering, 4K text-to-image generation, and advanced graphics powered by Unreal Engine technologies like Mega Light and Nanite, delivering console-level visual realism on smartphones.

OPPO Find X9 Series Launch -

OPPO has confirmed that the Find X9 Series will launch in China on October 16th, followed by its India debut in November 2025.
