OPPO Find X9 with ultra-narrow bezels, Danxia lens teased ahead of launch
OPPO has been teasing its upcoming Find X9 series, with both official hints and leaks surfacing online. Zhou Yibao, head of the OPPO Find series, recently shared an image of the Find X9 display, highlighting that it will feature even narrower bezels than the Find X8s—potentially the slimmest four-sided borders on any smartphone.
He compared the Find X8s’s 1.25mm bezels with the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s 1.34mm bezels, noting that the Find X9 will push boundaries further. This follows Meizu’s confirmation that the upcoming Meizu 22 will offer 1.2mm bezels, while Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 17 Pro Max later today.
Zhou emphasized that for three generations—Find X8, Find X8s, and Find X9—OPPO has been innovating in display technology, thanks to its billion-yuan investment in self-developed screen production lines, incorporating design elements like the Golden R angle, Golden size, and narrowest borders.

Earlier this week, Zhou revealed that the Danxia lens will be standard across the Find X9 lineup, a feature previously exclusive to the Ultra models. This lens is designed for highly accurate color reproduction across all conditions—day or night, portraits, landscapes, photos, Live Photos, and videos.
Currently, most products in the industry are still using second-generation technology solutions, but the OPPO Find X9 series has fully embraced this technology, introducing the industry’s most advanced fourth-generation solution. I believe that in the future, more Pro and Ultra flagship imaging products will adopt this technology.
Unlike most rivals still on second-generation solutions, OPPO has fully adopted a fourth-generation mobile imaging technology, which combines advanced imaging lenses, Danxia color restoration lenses, and global multi-spectral sensors. This setup promises significantly better color accuracy, especially in low color temperature and pure color scenes.

The Find X9 is said to replace the circular camera deco of the Find X8 with a rectangular module in the top left corner. A recent Geekbench listing (model CPH2791) revealed key specs: Dimensity 9500 SoC, 16GB RAM, and Android 16 with ColorOS 16.
Earlier reports suggest the phone will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED display, up to 512GB storage, and industry-leading battery life. Zhou has also called the Find X9 the “most powerful standard flagship ever.”
