OPPO has officially launched its latest smartphones in the F29 series, the OPPO F29 5G and OPPO F29 Pro 5G in India, staying true to its promise. Both devices feature FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED displays. According to OPPO, these phones are designed to endure India’s toughest environmental conditions, thanks to their 360° Armour Body, advanced waterproofing, and certification for over 14 military-grade environmental tests.
The F29 series has undergone 14 Military Standard (MIL-STD-810H-2022) tests, ensuring durability against extreme temperatures, shock, rain, freezing water, sand, dust, salt mist, solar radiation, humidity, vibration, fluid contamination, mould, acceleration (g-loads), and resistance.
These smartphones boast IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, offering the highest level of protection against dust and water ingress. OPPO also claims they can withstand 18 different liquid spills, including coffee, tea, milk, soda, and water.
The F29 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and houses a massive 6500mAh battery with 45W fast charging. It is available in Solid Purple, which exudes royal confidence, and Glacier Blue, inspired by India's tranquil mountain landscapes.
The F29 Pro 5G features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy SoC and a 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It comes in Marble White, reminiscent of sunlight reflecting off pristine marble, and Granite Black, offering a bold, textured finish for a sleek yet rugged look.
