OnePlus Pad 3 to be launched on June 5 Globally with Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, Stylus

OnePlus has officially announced the launch of its upcoming tablet, the OnePlus Pad 3, scheduled for June 5. The tablet is set to debut in global markets including North America, Canada, Europe, and the UK. Interestingly, the launch coincides with the release of the OnePlus 13s smartphone in India, although there's no word yet on when the OnePlus Pad 3 will be available in the Indian market.

The company confirmed that the Pad 3 will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It will also support OnePlus Open Canvas, a multitasking feature that allows up to three apps to be used simultaneously with drag-and-drop functionality.

Promotional images showcase a keyboard and stylus, both expected to be sold separately. While OnePlus hasn't shared full specifications yet, the tablet is likely to be a global variant of the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro, which launched in China recently, featuring a similar Deep Sea Blue colour.

For reference, the Pad 2 Pro features a 13.2-inch 2K 144Hz LCD screen, an eight-speaker setup (four mid-bass and four tweeter ultra-wideband units) with Dolby Atmos, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera, an ultra-slim 5.97mm metal unibody design, and a massive 12,140mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging.
