Apple Confirms WWDC 2025 Keynote for June 9 to 13; Major Software Updates
In March, Apple announced that WWDC 2025 will take place from June 9 to June 13. The company has now confirmed that the Keynote will kick off at 10 AM PDT (10:30 PM IST) on June 9.
Apple stated that the event will begin with a preview of major updates coming to its platforms later this year, which are expected to include iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, tvOS 19, and visionOS 3.
Platforms State of the Union -
Also scheduled for June 9 is the Platforms State of the Union, set to begin at 1 PM PDT. This session will provide developers with a more in-depth look at the latest tools, technologies, and enhancements across all Apple operating systems, helping them elevate their apps.
Apple Design Awards -
Previously, WWDC featured an in-person Apple Design Awards ceremony later in the day. However, following last year’s change, Apple is expected to pre-announce the winners again this year.
Live Streaming -
The Keynote will be streamed live on apple.com, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app, Apple Vision Pro, and YouTube. On-demand playback will be available after the live stream concludes.
The Platforms State of the Union will be available to stream via the Apple Developer app, website, and Apple Developer YouTube channel, with on-demand viewing also available afterwards.
