OnePlus 15T launched with 6.32-inch 1.5K 165Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, 7500mAh battery

OnePlus has launched its latest compact flagship segment smartphone in the T series, the OnePlus 15T in China, as they promised. Designed as a small-screen powerhouse, the smartphone pairs a 6.32-inch display with top-tier hardware, a large battery, and an advanced camera setup.

Design and Build -

The OnePlus 15T follows a “Free Design” philosophy, featuring a 6.32-inch flat display with rounded edges and ultra-slim 1.1mm bezels. Weighing 194g, the phone is engineered with a balanced 50:50 weight distribution to enhance one-handed usability.

Its rear panel is made from fiberglass, while the front is protected by OPPO Crystal Shield Glass for improved resistance against drops and scratches. The device also offers comprehensive durability with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water protection.

The smartphone comes in three finishes:

• Healing White Chocolate - A white metal frame crafted using a micro-arc oxidation process.
• Pure Cocoa - A dark brown variant.
• Relaxing Matcha - A soft green option.

Performance and Core Hardware -

At its core, the device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, delivering an AnTuTu score exceeding 4.45 million. It supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM and integrates a large 5150mm² vapor chamber for thermal management.

Additional features include a G2 gaming network chip and 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition for enhanced security and responsiveness.

Display Features -

The 6.32-inch screen stands out with its 165Hz refresh rate—an uncommon specification in compact smartphones. It supports native 165fps output in select gaming titles, particularly popular FPS and MOBA games.

For improved eye comfort, the display incorporates new luminous materials, true hardware-level 1-nit minimum brightness for dark environments, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and optimized low blue light performance.

Camera System -

Branded under LUMO Imaging, the camera system brings flagship-grade hardware to the compact form factor:

• Main Camera - 50MP Sony large sensor.
• Telephoto Lens - 3.5x periscope telephoto (85mm equivalent) with Optical Image Stabilization and up to 7x optical-quality zoom.
• Software Enhancements - 4K ultra-HD live photos, Master Mode, wide-format framing, and multiple film-style presets.

Battery and Charging -

Despite its compact build, the phone houses a massive 7500mAh Glacier Battery. According to OnePlus, this enables up to 10.3 hours of MOBA gameplay or 40.5 hours of video streaming on a single charge.

Charging options include 100W wired and 50W wireless support. The device also features global bypass power supply technology—allowing it to draw power directly during gaming sessions to reduce battery heat—along with both wired and wireless reverse charging capabilities.
