OnePlus 15R launching in India Soon; First Teaser Reveals Dual Cameras and Android 16

OnePlus launched its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15, during an online global launch last week, and wrapped up the event with a teaser for the upcoming OnePlus 15R. The company has now shared the first official teaser image of the device.

The teaser carries the tagline “Power On. Limits Off.” and shows the phone in Black and Green finishes, featuring a metal frame and a dedicated Plus key on the left side.

Enhancing the teaser image reveals that the OnePlus 15R will feature a dual rear-camera setup, a change from the triple-camera system seen on the OnePlus 13R. An LED flash sits alongside the two lenses. OnePlus has also confirmed that the phone will ship with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16.

Expected specifications for the OnePlus 15R include a 6.83-inch 1.5K 165Hz AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite or Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a 50MP main camera paired with a secondary sensor, and a 7800mAh or 8000mAh battery supporting 100W or 120W SuperVOOC fast charging.

Once launched, the OnePlus 15R will be available via Amazon.in, the OnePlus India online store, and offline retail outlets. More details are likely to surface in the coming weeks.
