OnePlus 15 launched in India starting at Rs. 72,999 with 6.78-inch 1.5K 165Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, 7300mAh battery

OnePlus just launched its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15 in India, as announced. It runs on OxygenOS 16, built on a foundation that brings a suite of AI-powered features for smoother interactions, smarter language tools, and enhanced imaging capabilities.

The system also offers deep integration with Google’s Gemini AI assistant, enabling seamless connection with Mind Space to retrieve and act on saved data. Additionally, the new Plus Mind feature functions as a personalized, context-aware “second brain”, adapting intelligently to user habits and needs.

The 120Hz LTPO panel supports up to a 165Hz refresh rate for gaming, providing ultra-smooth visuals with native 165fps support in popular titles such as Call of Duty: Mobile, Brawl Stars, and Clash of Clans. A dedicated touch response chip further enhances responsiveness, offering an impressive 3200Hz touch sampling rate for instantaneous and precise input detection.

Performance -

The OnePlus 15 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra+ RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1. To handle heat efficiently, it features the new Glacier Cooling System, which uses the industry’s first ultra-thin “hand-tearable steel” to expand the vapor chamber by 43% and enhance capillary water absorption by 100%. It also employs aerospace-grade supercritical aerogel insulation, a technology adapted from space rocket engines, to maintain optimal temperatures during intensive use.

The smartphone also introduces the G2 gaming network chip, designed to enhance Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity. According to OnePlus, this chip reduces latency by 65.85%, improves game update speeds by 71.3%, and accelerates video transmission by 42%, ensuring smoother performance even in crowded network conditions.

Camera -

The OnePlus 15 is equipped with a 50MP Sony main sensor with OIS, as well as a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens, and an 85mm portrait lens, offering versatile photography options.

The device supports 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video recording, AI-powered portrait lighting, ultra-clear Live Photos, and high-definition portrait capture. OnePlus has introduced the DetailMax Engine, an advanced imaging system that combines multiple cutting-edge technologies to deliver sharper, more detailed, and true-to-life photos.

According to OnePlus, the phone can charge 1604mAh in 30 minutes and 5000mAh 13 minutes faster than its predecessor. A quick 5-minute charge provides up to 6 hours of video streaming, ensuring users stay powered up with minimal downtime.

The OnePlus 15 continues the brand’s design-first philosophy and is available in three distinct finishes:
