No more 16GB iPad and Apple cuts iPad Pro prices as well
While the news of the new iPhone 7 and 2nd-gen Apple Watch was settling down, Apple quietly updated its entire iPad line-up as well. The older models including the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4 now start at 32GB, both also come in a 128GB storage option for $100 above the base model. The iPad Mini 2 will now only be offered in a 32GB option starting at $269.
The iPad Pro is also getting a price cut, the 128GB variant will now cost $50 less while the 256GB will see a price drop of $100. Apple has removed the 16GB storage option now from its entire line-up, be it the iPhone 7 or the older iPads without increasing prices. More storage for the base models, will make it enticing for people willing to upgrade or even prospective buyers.
