Here's a list of all Sony smartphones/tablets that will get Android Nougat update

Android Nougat has just been out for a few hours and even most Nexus devices haven't got the update yet. But Sony wanted to clear the air on which smartphones and tablets in its range will get Nougat update at some point.

So, here's the list of devices:

• Sony Xperia Z3+ 
• Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet 
• Sony Xperia Z5 
• Sony Xperia Z5 Compact
• Sony Xperia Z5 Premium 
• Sony Xperia X 
• Sony Xperia XA 
• Sony Xperia XA Ultra 
• Sony Xperia X Performance

This may not be the final picture though. Sony may decide to include more smartphones to this list later on. The company has already started a beta program for testing Android Nougat build on the Xperia X Performance in Europe, so the wheels have already begun turning.

Now, you may ask when exactly are these phones getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update? Well, Sony wasn't exactly too forthcoming with dates and deadlines. But this is just the beginning of Android update season and we are likely to hear something soon.
