iQOO 15 Ultra Confirmed as Brand’s First Ultra Smartphone, Launched in early February

Update - iQOO has officially confirmed that the iQOO 15 Ultra will launch in China in early February 2026. The company’s product manager has stated that the smartphone is being positioned specifically for hardcore gamers.
Regarding the phone, he said:
This smartphone is designed exclusively for true gamers—built for those who care about every 0.1-second of latency, obsess over frame-by-frame perfection in gameplay and live streams, and pursue absolute control and precision. It reflects a deep understanding of gaming culture and the demands of serious players.
As the industry’s first ultra-performance-focused smartphone, this device is the result of seven years of dedicated development. It is not a simple upgrade or iteration, but a complete reconstruction—of performance expectations, control limits, game streaming experience, and technological design—unlocking the true potential of next-generation chips.
In hand, the difference is immediately noticeable. Its power feels natural, intuitive, and perfectly balanced. Like wielding a legendary weapon, it enables a state of pure “flow,” where you and the device move as one, time fades away, and only reflexes and control remain.
The wait is almost over. In early February, the Ultra arrives—created for the ultimate gamer.

Earlier - After skipping Pro variants of its flagship lineup for the past two years, iQOO is expanding its portfolio once again. Following the launch of the standard iQOO 13 as its flagship in 2024 and the iQOO 15 in 2025, the company has now officially confirmed the iQOO 15 Ultra, marking its first smartphone under the Ultra series.
In China, iQOO has stated that the device will launch before the Spring Festival, which begins on February 17. According to well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, the phone is tentatively scheduled for an early February debut.
Earlier reports suggest that the iQOO 15 Ultra is being positioned as a “productivity tool” for a niche audience. This target group is believed to include game streamers and gaming industry professionals, indicating that the device may focus heavily on gaming performance rather than photography, unlike Ultra-branded flagships from OPPO, vivo, and Xiaomi.
Last month, the same leaker hinted at a gaming-centric Ultra phone featuring an upgraded active cooling fan and shoulder trigger buttons, paired with a bold, futuristic design. The cooling system is said to be exceptionally powerful—possibly the largest and most efficient active fan in the industry—allowing the current generation chipset to deliver performance levels approaching those of next-generation processors.
More details about the iQOO 15 Ultra are expected to emerge in the coming weeks.
