iQOO 15 will features 2K 144Hz Samsung OLED screen, self-developed Q3 gaming chip

iQOO has revealed several standout features of its upcoming flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15, during an e-sports performance technology briefing in China. The presentation centered on display innovations, a self-developed gaming chip, and major performance upgrades.
Display and Visual Technology -

The iQOO 15 will sport a 2K Samsung “Everest” display, featuring the world’s first M14 luminescent material and 2K LEAD OLED technology. iQOO claims this panel achieves a 98.1% first-frame brightness ratio and 40% better luminous efficiency.

It includes a 1 nit eye-protection soft light mode, supports manual peak brightness up to 1000 nits, and delivers 508 PPI resolution with Dolby Vision certification. The display also brings “Eye Protection 2.0”, a 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 3200Hz instantaneous touch sampling for gaming.
Self-Developed Gaming Chip -

The company also introduced its Q3 gaming chip, described as the start of the “mobile graphics card era.” This is the first independent display chip to integrate super-resolution, super-frame, and ray tracing technologies.
Built on TSMC’s ultra-low power process, the Q3 promises 60% higher performance, 40% better energy efficiency, 50% larger cache, and a 400% boost in AI capability.
Gaming Performance and Ecosystem -

The iQOO 15 will also debut the QNSS super rendering engine, said to power the first fully-developed ray tracing engine for large-scale open-world mobile games. Highlights include PC-level super-resolution in Naraka: Bladepoint and sustained 2K resolution at 144FPS for one hour in CrossFire: Gun King.
iQOO further announced support for super-resolution and interpolation in over 180 games, along with deep collaborations on seven additional titles, reinforcing its push to build a comprehensive gaming ecosystem.
Additional Features -
As a “super performance flagship,” the iQOO 15 will also feature a periscope telephoto lens, wireless charging, and a new motor system.
More details are expected to surface in the coming weeks, ahead of the phone’s official launch in October.
