Now HTC is going on the no headphone jack route with the Bolt
HTC Bolt had already surfaced online and now we have some live images of the phone which offers a good look at it on all sides.
The design of the phone is similar to the HTC 10 and it will pack a 5.5-inch 1080p display in its metal unibody shell with 3GB RAM, 64GB onboard storage. In the front you have a camera, proximity and light sensors alongwith a notification LED. Just below the display there are two backlit capacitive buttons flanking the home button which should also double up as the fingerprint sensor.
The left of the phone has the SIM and microSD card slot. You can see the ridged power button and the volume rocker on the right. The back of the phone is flat and the LED flash, camera module can be seen there as well. The rear camera does protrude a bit.
Now for the sad part, HTC has also decided to get rid of the 3.5mm audio jack from the phone. You will only find the speaker, USB Type-C port and primary microphone at the bottom. This is expected to be the first HTC smartphone to run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. But at present there is no word on a launch date yet.
