Apple Watch Ultra 3 launched in India starting at Rs. 89900 with Two-Way Satellite, Advanced Health Tracking, Large Display

Apple has launched its latest flagship smartwatch in the Ultra series, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 in India, equipped with two-way satellite communication, enhanced health insights, 5G connectivity, expanded fitness tracking, and the largest and brightest display ever on an Apple Watch.

The Watch Ultra 3 comes in a titanium case available in natural or black, paired with a new LTPO3 wide-angle OLED display. It features 24% thinner borders, improved brightness at wide viewing angles, and a 1Hz always-on refresh rate, allowing the display to show a ticking seconds hand, updated watch faces, and Waypoint navigation with a live compass and Night Mode.

Built for durability and sustainability, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 incorporates 40% recycled content, including 100% recycled cobalt in the battery and titanium in the case. Its 3D-printed case reduces raw material usage by half, production runs entirely on renewable electricity, and fiber-based packaging is fully recyclable, supporting Apple’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2030.

Connectivity and Battery -

The watch supports 5G connectivity for faster downloads and offers the most accurate GPS available in a sports watch. It provides up to 42 hours of battery life under normal use, extendable to 72 hours in Low Power Mode, with fast charging delivering up to 12 hours of battery in just 15 minutes.

Satellite Communication -

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 introduces built-in satellite communication, keeping users connected even off the grid. It can automatically detect severe falls or car crashes and send messages when out of cellular range. Key features include:

• Support for Messages and Find My location updates over satellite, secured with end-to-end encryption.

watchOS 26 Features -

watchOS 26 introduces the Liquid Glass design, Smart Stack hints for easier app access, enhanced Messages with Live Translation, and a one-handed wrist flick gesture to quickly dismiss notifications. It launches on September 15 and supports Apple Watch Series 6+, Apple Watch SE 2+, and all Ultra models.
